These people can meet and beat the standards of the 4 Seasons any day. Food & Service make the experience amazing. I would never pay for the Major hotels in Banff as all you get is a "hotel room." With the folks you get attention to detail, Super service. A real can do location.

I liked everything....the room was so relaxing. We didn't even turn the TV on, as the fireplace was all we needed.

The parking was an issue, as it was full and we had to park at the end of the driveway on the edge of the road. That was pour only issue....it was great.

We thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent at Buffalo Lodge, over the Christmas period. The whole ambiance of the hotel was wonderful, with superb Christmas decorations in the reception/bar area. Our room was very comfortable, complete with log fire. We were VERY impressed with the staff, who were all extremely friendly and were always willing to help us with whatever query we had. All those we encountered were first-rate!

The only (slight) down side was the noise of the plumbing from the apartment above us and the noise from the heavy footfall of the guest above us who, unfortunately, was active very early in the morning. We had several earlier mornings than we should have liked! This was, however, the ONLY negative thing during our week-long stay.
